With the new Rubric Reports by Criteria feature, teachers and administrators can gain deeper insight into student performance based on the rubric criteria.

Teachers and administrators can view detailed analytics for each assessment question, including:

  • Top-performing and lowest-performing criteria. Understand which rubric elements students are excelling in and where they may need additional support.

  • A report with a breakdown of all criteria per student. Generate a report for any assessment that breaks down student performance by criterion and by teacher.

Administrators have access to enhanced reporting that breaks down student performance by criterion and by teacher for all teachers within the district or school to quickly identify trends.

Locating Rubric Reports in Extempore

  1. Click the Rubrics tab in the top menu.

  2. Find the rubric you would like to view reports for.

Understanding the submissions column and color coding

From the rubric report, you will see a column named Submissions. This column allows teachers or admins to quickly determine how many submissions have been graded, how many have been assigned but not submitted, and how many have been submitted but not yet graded.

  • Blue = Graded Submissions

  • Yellow = Submitted and Not Graded

  • Grey = Assigned and Not Submitted
