Teachers have a few ways to provide feedback to students in the Gradebook. Depending on the assessment, you might use one option over another or even a combination of options. Watch the video below or scroll down to learn more.
View Submissions
Select any colored cell to open the snap grader on the right side of the screen where you can view the submission, grade, provide feedback, and quickly navigate to the next student, question, or assignment.

Grade with a Rubric
To provide a numeric grade, a rubric must be attached to the question. Hover over each segment to see the level descriptors and click to select. Don't forget to save when you are finished rating the submission.
Give Written Feedback
To provide audio or video feedback to a student's submission, open the snap grader and navigate to the comments section. From there, type your feedback and click the green circle to submit.
Give Audio or Video Feedback
To provide audio or video feedback to a student's submission, open the snap grader and navigate to the comments section. From there, click on the microphone or video icon to record your feedback. Make sure to click submit media when you are done.

Mark Complete
To expedite the submission review process, teachers can mark questions as complete and skip providing a numeric grade. Check out the two ways to mark a response as complete below.
