Migrating assessments from an old account to a new Extempore account

If you have an existing Extempore account and your district started using one of our LMS integrations a new account will be created. All of your existing content can be migrated to your new account by following the steps below.

  1. Login to your existing account (username/password)

  2. Locate the assessment you want to keep

  3. Use the send to colleague feature to generate a URL

  4. Open the send to colleague URL in a new tab

  5. Click "Sign in with your LMS" and select the class(es) to import
    ​

Tip: If you plan on importing multiple assessments to your new account we recommend copying and pasting the send to colleague URLs to a Google Doc or spreadsheet so you can quickly follow steps 4 and 5 without needing to jump between both accounts.
