If you see a locked attempt, this means that a single attempt question was viewed but not completed. Contact your teacher and request for the question to be unlocked.
Locked attempts can happen with any of the following options:
Student opens a single attempt question and closes the page without responding
Student backs out of a single attempt question after opening it (extra warning will display)
Student loses internet connection after opening a single attempt question
