Finally, presentational assessments. These are assessments that have students produce the language, so responses are either written or spoken. For presentational assessments, first select the response method, either ‘audio,’ ‘video,’ or ‘text,’ then create a prompt that has students present information to an audience. What distinguishes presentational assessments is that they have an audience, but the speaker is not expecting a reply. The speaker is presenting information, as opposed to exchanging information, say in an interpersonal setting.

Step 1: Create an assessment. Select either video, audio, or text for the student response.

Step 2: Create your questions and include a prompt for students to respond to. Your prompt can be as simple as proving vocabulary to your students to form a sentence in their target language.

Step 3: Click "Save & Add New Question" or "Next" to finish creating the assessment.
