Connecting Your Google Account to Your Existing Extempore Account

Existing Extempore accounts will need to take a couple of steps to connect your Google account to your Extempore account. Connecting the Google Account only provides teachers the ability to Sinlge-Sign in to Extempore through their Google Credentials.

Teachers using Extempore through an LMS integration will sign in using their LMS credentials. Please click here to see steps for how to access Extempore through the LMS.

Step 1: Log in to your Extempore account with your username and password.

Step 2: Click your username in the top right corner of the page and click My Account.

Step 3: Tab to account, then Connect your Google account.

After following the above steps, you should see an 'Account' tab. Select this tab, click 'Connect with Google', and a new tab will open in your browser. Log into your Google account and grant permission for Extempore to access your Google account.

After granting permission, you will automatically be redirected back to your Extempore account. Your Google account is now successfully connected.
