In Extempore, teachers can use the 'View as Student' button to view your assignments. Alternatively, teachers can 'View as a Specific Student' from the class as well!

How to 'View as Student' from your account:

Step 1: Go to the class you would like to view.

Step 2: Click 'View as Student' below your assignment list.

Step 3: Click "OK" when you see the "creating your student user" message. (only first time)

Step 4: A new window will open in the Student Portal to test your assignments.

Teachers can reset their 'view as student' user to quickly test without needing to clear your submissions from the Gradebook to make edits to the assessment.

How to 'Impersonate a Specific Student' from their account:

Different from viewing as a student from your instructor account, impersonating a specific student allows you to see exactly what your students see, which can come in handy when troubleshooting or if the student is saying they can't see the assessment.

Step 1: Go to the class you would like to view.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page to view your roster.

Step 3: Click the 'Eye' icon to view a specific students' account.
