View as a Student

In Extempore, teachers can use the View as Student button to view assignments.

Step 1: Go to the class you would like to view.

Step 2: Click the View as Student button below your assignment list.

Step 3: Click OK when you see the creating your student user message. (The message appears the first time only.)

Step 4: A new window will open allowing you to see assessments just as students see them. Notice the green bar at the bottom of the window. You can respond as a student, but your answers will not be saved.

Reset the Student View will restore assessments you started with, but submitted.
​Exit Student View will close the window.

​Note: View as Student does not work for Group assessments.
