How to reset a student's password

Step 1: Open the class where the student is rostered.

Step 2: Select the gear icon βš™οΈ for the student who requires a password change.

Step 3: Type in a temporary password for your student. Be sure to tell the student their new password so they can log in.

LMS-synced students don't change passwords

Note: If you are within a district whose Extempore (both student and teacher) sync with an LMS like Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology, students in your district should never have to reset their password to access assignments. Students with LMS-synced accounts should never have to log in to Extempore, since they access assignments directly from their LMS.
