Copying a class on Extempore can be handy when you want to reuse it for a new school year, share with another teacher, or use for a class with multiple sections. When you copy a class, all assessments and questions are copied over. However, students and student responses are not copied over.

How to copy a class on Extempore

Step 1: Find the class you would like to copy and click the copy class button.

Step 2: A pop-up window will appear. Enter the name for the new class you'd like to create. Please note that the default name is Copy of ____. You may, of course, choose to type in a new name for the new class. Select the Copy button when done.

Step 3: Once you copy the class, you'll be automatically redirected to this class.

Step 4: Add a new image for your class and edit class information / assessments as needed. The newly copied class will not have any students or submissions, so be sure to add students to your class to get started.
