Theme colors: Applied organization team colors more consistently across the updated NAPI experience.

Missing Extempore Live recordings: Added recovery for rooms whose Twilio composition completed but whose composition SID was never saved. Recovery now checks a wider set of eligible rooms, reuses available recordings when possible, excludes deleted or active rooms, and runs through the nightly recovery process.

Recovery performance: Added database indexes and tightened recovery queries to reduce locking and speed up searches for affected rooms. The 15 known cases identified before release are scheduled for automatic recovery by the nightly job.

Duplicate room connections: Improved handling when the same participant reconnects or opens another session so the older connection exits cleanly without incorrectly ending the room.

Presence accuracy: Improved session and room-presence cleanup so disconnected participants are less likely to remain shown as online.

Lobby notifications: Prevented room-entry transitions from being announced as if a participant left the waiting room.

Help-request notifications: Prevented automatic room cleanup from showing a misleading “help request canceled” message when no participant canceled it.

Grade and feedback cleanup: Improved cleanup behavior when instructors clear scores or reset attempts so related grade and feedback state stays consistent.

Group assessment rubrics: Moved group assessments to assessment-level rubrics so performance bands and score conversions work correctly across backend, frontend, CMS, and Gradebook flows.

Course grouping for classes: Added course-name grouping in STC and the CMS copy-assessment dialog so teachers can find related classes more quickly. Classes without a course ID now fall into an “Other classes” section, teaching-assistant classes display a TA badge, nickname overrides appear in place of class names, and deleted classes are filtered out of the CMS copy flow.

Linked assessment edit syncing: Added clearer edit-flow messaging for parent/child assessments after STC import and CMS copying. When questions are added, deleted, or updated, users are sent back to the assessment edit page with guidance to save so linked assessments sync correctly. Date parameters and absent-student settings remain section-specific and are not synced.

New organizations: Enabled new group management by default for every newly created organization in NAPI.
