In certain situations, students are able to download recorded responses from Extempore to keep in a portfolio.

How to download responses from Extempore

In order to download an audio or video response from your student account, the following criteria must be met:

  1. The instructor has published grades (i.e. marked complete, provided a score, or left feedback) on this question.

  2. The instructor has safe mode, which prevents the downloading of responses, turned off.

Step 1: Login to your student account.

Step 2: Navigate to the completed tab and click on the desired assessment.

Step 3. Select the question you would like to view.

Note: when the instructor has safe mode turned on, unreviewed (grey) responses are not viewable by the students. The box must be green for students to their response when safe mode is on.

Step 4: Click the download arrow.
