Go To Room Button Doesn't Work

If your "Go To Room" button is grayed out, follow these simple steps for a quick fix.

If you're experiencing a grayed out "Go to Room" button it is because Extempore is not recognizing or picking up your microphone.

Your waiting room will look like the image below when Extempore does not recognize a microphone.

To make sure Extempore is picking up your Microphone signal, please follow these steps below:

Step 1: Make sure your device has the correct input audio selected.

Step 2: Check that the audio is not on mute or the input volume is not turned off.

Step 3: If you're using headphones or a headset, make sure that it's not on mute, fully charged and working.

Once your microphone signal is picked up, you should see the below:

The "Go To Room" button will be light blue and the Microphone signal will get a green check mark.
