Safe Mode protects test integrity by preventing students from downloading assessment content, disabling copy and paste, and hiding future assessments.

What does enabling Safe Mode actually do?

  1. Students cannot download the contents of your assignments (audio/video)

  2. Students cannot copy the text from the question (example, they cannot copy text to paste it into Google Translate), nor can they paste in a response for a text-based submission.

  3. The 'Future Assignments' tab is disabled for students. Future assignments will display as active once the start date hits.

  4. Students cannot review their submitted responses or questions until feedback is published.
